Happy Father's Day 2021

Happy Father's Day, 2021. I am so appreciative to the Most High for blessing me with a man who has been there for me my ENTIRE life as write this blog. A man who chose to be there for, wanted to be there for me and needed to be there for me. My dad, who I love. My dad, who with my late mom, conceived and brought me into this world. I have witness the ups and downs, highs and lows and triumphs in my dad's life. He's worked hard and continues to work hard to this day. I try my best to show him and tell him that everything he do is worth it. I wish he and my mom had more kids, as of now I haven't became a father yet, so the future of both families combine is still within me. Through marriage, love and bonding, he is a grandfather, a great-grandfather. That legacy stands strong. I want to do my part to ensure that what he instilled in me doesn't end with me and that he gets to see it realized.

When my dad was my current age, I was 14. I had began forming greater opinions about myself and my family. The one that has remained and become stronger over the years and decades since is my love for my dad, a true Master of all trades....cooking, building, providing all to his extent. I put this blog in the atmosphere of affirmation and realization that my dad's greatest day has yet to come...because he has more life to live, more life to love. It's because of him being at a heightened level of awareness that I didn't die on February 27, 2020. Had he not been home at that time, I would have, without a doubt.

I am so thankful as a black man in the United States to have my dad in my life. Growing up, I thought that was the "norm". I didn't know it was becoming a rarity. Even my dad's own father wasn't in his life for the most part, but he never denied his son or made his feel less than. I wish my dad had his dad full-time. The fact remains is that my dad became a better dad to me because he wanted to be a father that was around. My dad married a woman who was a go-getter and full of unmatched class, my mom and was together for 32 years until her death in 2012. I write this for the future me, to remember how blessed you were for nearly 32 years to have both parents in your life and the additional 9 years and counting you have this good dude in your life. I love you Dude, aka Dad.

To all the fathers, Happy Father's Day, stay blessed up and keep doing your job.
My dad will be the subject of Episode 150 of GOAT1408 TV, coming soon.

If I Can, I Will | A mantra of Positive Affirmations

If I Can, I will. This is a mantra I made for myself years ago. But it wasn't until yesterday (6.11.2021) that it truly clicked. This came with each day since my near death in 2020 listening to like-minded individuals who deal with spiritually and affirmations. None of us are perfect....NONE of us are. Perfection is not what we seek, it is acceptance of who we truly are once doubting ourselves and our God-given power of self has awaken. As I type these words at 5:05 a.m. I think about this amazing video I made to accompany the poem I made for the mantra. I hope that you all enjoy this mantra throughout all time. May it resonate within you as it has me. Set your vibrations high and enjoy the ride. One love.
